She started her music career at age six playing violin and classical music at church and birthday events under the mentoring hands of her parents. Since then, she has remained one of very few African women who sing professional opera.
Abiodun Koya has had solo opera performances for various distinguish audiences and venues such as:- various Embassies in Washington, DC, Leon Sullivan foundation, performances for less privilege kids and MCI center. In 2003 her singing career was crowned with an invitation for a solo performance at the prestigious World Bank Atrium, at the World Bank Headquarters in Washington, DC. Her stage pictures have been featured in several international news magazines while her career in singing, modeling, and poetry has earned her several awards and recognitions. Her talent in acting has landed her roles in comedies and theater productions such as "Pathway to freedom, Peter Pan and Laugh Back" to mention a few.
