THE MALCOLM-X TROUPE DRUMMERS AND DANCERS

African contemporary with the exclusive M-X Troupe, a group of musicians who perform on the elegant long state Dancers & drummers to provide a blaze of thrilling fanfares that will highlight any event. The Malcolm X Drummers and Dancers are a group of tremendously talented artists that grew out of the cultural experience demonstrated that creates a wonderful expression of creative energies.


List of Drummers and Dancers

1. Doc Powell, originally from Atlantic City NJ and the acting Music Director, producer, and lead drummer for the Malcolm X Drummers and Dancers.

2. Baba Aziz Ahmadu is an extremely talented and knowledgeable master African drummer who entertains you with his awesome drum music.

3. Baba Joseph Ngwa, master drummer from Cameroon, West Africa.

4. Mariame Conte, magnificent dancer from Guinea, West Africa.

5. King Baba James, also, a Nigerian master dancer, and, also, formerly with the National Troupe of Nigeria, will entertain you with his no-hand flips and master dance personality.

6. Becky Umeh, my lead dancer, Nigerian master dancer and mastersinger, will delight you with her extraordinarily graceful movements and voice expressions.

7. Kombo Omolara, another Trinidadian, drummer, and master stilts walker, does creative dancing while being suspended four feet in the and air on stilts, and does not miss a beat.
8. Nana Malaya: dancer, singer, and spiritual leader.

9. Jaamin Tempo was trained in classical music in Japan, plays 13 different instruments, and has performed with Little Royal and Gill Scott Heron. She is a singer, songwriter, and composer, and plays conga drums for the Malcolm X Drummers and Dancers.

10. Stephanie Oyatador will take you to her West African village as a solo dancer with high-spirited gyrations.

11. Olujimi Bullock is one of the best sangban drummers of our time.
